ASAM 2.5 Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Adults 21 and older
 

• River City's Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) bridges the gap between residential treatment and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). It is an outpatient structured program of care that is a great intervention for individuals that have been released from a residential program or jail and/or individuals that cannot stay sober in IOP that may need a higher level of care to support them on their path to recovery. 
   

​To help you stick with your recovery goals, River City's PHP will provide:
 

• Intensive treatment and recovery support services that typically take place five days a week for full-day sessions. PHP groups are conveniently offered daily, Monday - Friday, from 9:30am - 2:30pm. This service is in-person only.
   

• Multiple group therapy sessions throughout the week to help individuals address any treatment and recovery issues that come up, such as cravings or triggers for substance use. The River City Team can guide participants through different types of therapy to help restructure distorted thought patterns that are holding them back from their goals for a healthy lifestyle.
   

• As participants progress in their recovery and gain the skills they need to sustain a healthy lifestyle, they may then transition to a lower level of care such as IOP, which is 3-4 days weekly for 3-hours each day for ongoing recovery support.
