Mental Health Skill Building (MHSS) is a community and home-based service designed for individuals diagnosed with mental health and/or co-occurring conditions. Our goal is to assist our clients' in learning to navigate the community while also increasing their mental health skills.

We provide our clients with a personalized approach to recovery and functioning. Individuals will be matched with a River City counselor based on their mental health needs, and can meet at home or in the community.

Services include but are not limited to: Comprehensive care coordination, assistance with financial planning & budgeting, organizational strategies to maintain a structured and balanced lifestyle, medication management, self-advocacy skills, substance use services, therapy services, support groups, vocational training programs, housing and employment navigation, and connection to community resources.
