Natalie Kulp is a Resident in Counseling, currently pursuing licensure to become an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). She is also a CSAC (Certified Substance Abuse Counselor) supervisee.

Born and raised in Roanoke VA, Natalie completed her undergraduate education at Virginia Tech in 2020 before achieving her M.Ed in Counselor Education from VCU in 2022. Prior to joining the River City team, Natalie spent a year working with children and families at St. Joseph's Villa’s Crisis Stabilization Unit, as part of her counseling practicum and internship.

Natalie works as an outpatient clinician, using Trauma-informed, Narrative and Dialectical Behavior therapy to support and assist individuals reach their personal goals. She also serves as the program director for River City’s Partial Hospitalization Program - An ASAML2.5 level treatment program providing 20 hours or more of clinically intensive programming weekly to support clients diagnosed with a substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorder, who require daily monitoring and management in a structured outpatient setting.

In her free time, Natalie loves to be by the water (especially the ocean), trying new restaurants around Richmond and spending time with family and friends.
